We hope you'll come to the social club gatherings with other wiener dog lovers in a casual setting for fun activities and special events aimed for wiener dogs and their humans to bond, have fun and a friendly race competition thrown in the mix to make it interesting! WienerFest takes place on our permanent Wiener Dog Race Track only at Doggy Heaven, located on the property of the Shell Factory and Nature Center. Proceeds will benefit 501(c)3 not-for-profit organizations who promote and provide for the welfare of the four-legged creatures in need of care, food, or a loving forever family.

Wiener dogs, hot dogs, dachshunds, badger dogs, what ever you call them, they are loveable members of our family. Exercise is an important part of their lives and keeps them healthy and happy. We are driven to create fun and exciting family fun for every one, especially our dogs!

We created a wiener dog club for any one with a wiener dog that may or may not be AKC registered. We will have a social meeting a minimum of once a month at Dogbones Cafe' at the pet-friendly Shell Factory, US 41, North Fort Myers, FL. Looking for folks interested in becoming members and are interested in helping plan and produce events.

I adopted these adorable 5 year old twin boys Bailey and Botsey on February 23, 2010 from Forever Pets, North Fort Myers. They have taken over my life... so I decided to create the SW Florida Wiener Dog club to share our experiences, socialize and have fun with other humans that are "owned" by their wieners.
